1999 Powerstroke diesel Problem

I have a early yr. 99 powerstroke diesel (completely Stock) has 170k miles..I was driving home today and the truck jus stopped running..I was going abt. 45mph and idle got a little rough and it just shut off..I tried giving all the info to maybe get an answer for the problem..ttthanks Mike.

Thats wat my dad said he has a 02 psd and his went out...Will this make the truck idle rough at times?

When it shut off the last time it wouldnt start bak up either.

Mine did on my old truck, Idled rough at times, sometimes it would just die going down the road, etc..CPS is a good place to start if you don't have any codes

I'm leaning towards the cam sensor,Do the lift pumps go out?

That def. sounds like the cps, exact symptoms that happened to my truck. Go to a ford dealer and get it replaced for free. It was a recall.
