Question obd command

Howdy, I've got a 04 f250 6.0. I'm trying to read the eot, via serial connect, the pid for this is 015C but what I get returned is "no data". I'm using an elm 327 connector, I can read quite a bit of data, coolant temp is no problem, rpm, speed, load etc.... but for some reason no oil temp. Any one have any suggestions? I've tried communicating via several softwares, OBD crazy seems to be the best of the prepackaged, and I've tried using a direct terminal, via Python - pyserial. So any suggestions (re comms, or if anyone has a reasonably simple, somewhat accurate method of determining oil temp), it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Well thanks for the suggestion. I downloaded it, and I must admit is a very comprehensive program, but unfortunately, still no Eot. It did tell me, however, that aside from some problems I have with the backup sensors, which I knew and was grateful that don't work, (I hate the noise), that I may have a problem with an injector, or wiring around it. So while it still can't read my EOT, a big thanks for the rest of it. Cheers.
