04 f350 battery prob

i replaced 1 batt. i guess i need to replace the other 1, why do they have 2. also i live in b.c. starting to get a little cold what things do i need to do starting it now that it is getting colder out.

They have 2 batteries because it takes a lot of current to warm the glow plugs and turn these things over in the cold. Its always best to replace them in pairs.

As for cold start hints, plug it in the block heater if you can, and make sure your fuel is treated with an anti-gel additive.
