will 285/75's fit an 01 f350?

before i drop the coin, will 285/75/16s work without hassle on my 01 f350?

3 leaf front pack, no lift, no level kit

anyone have experience to share?

Dually or SRW? On a SRW they will fit just fine. Not sure on a DRW.

looks like they're larger in diameter by 2" over stock 265s, and that little bit wider too....

I ran 285's and thought they looked to small.

If it is a SRW you will be fine. I have 285x75R16 on 2002 F-250. I been running that size tire since I bought the truck new. It will give you a smoother ride then the 265.

You can go to a 305x75R16 with no lift. Once you go to 315's you will need a leveling kit for the front end.
