Is anybody else mad at the new 6.7?

Honestly I think the power of the new(ish) 6.7 is awesome... but seriously, ITS A DIESEL!! Its supposed to be loud They're not supposed to sound like smart cars. Why couldn't they just make it loud AND powerful? Or better yet get rid of the EPA and bring back the 7.3! What's your opinion??

Well we live in a time where who ever throughs the biggest piss fit well get there way whether it's back asswards or not and it just so happens the ones who are doing it the best are the tree hugging prius driving hipster freaks that glare at you through the window of there toy car if you drive anything bigger than a 2 seater go cart that gets 50 mpg . :

Do like the chatter of my 6.0, and would miss it if I had a newer 6.7.

I don't know, I'll take actual power over noise any day. 140hp Hondas can sound loud

Pop's would say that some things in life are just supposed to be the way they are. Girls should smell good, Harley should rumble and Diesels should clatter.
But as more and more city people decide that they want these big azz truck's for DD's and one for the wife for going to wally world they get rid of the very things that make them what they are.
I can still remember as a little kid the first time we pulled into a truck stop late one night and Dad opened his door. The sounds of those big truck idleing to me was like hearing music. The sudden pop of the air dryer's was like a symbol going off. And too me the guys that drove them big trucks were almost like walkin, talkin chain smokin super hero's. I guess thats why I drove trucks as a young man for a few years. Then I heard the cry of my son as I'd leave the house to go drive that truck. His cry was more powerful...
