04 250

i have a 04 f-250 w/ intake, 5 inch exhaust, and a edge programmer. Do i need to get head studs with just those mods or will i be safe w/o them.

you can never be "safe". head gaskets can blow on stock trucks. if you dont have the pedal to the floor all the time you probably will be fine but that depends on how you drive it. if you want more peace of mind go with a SCT much better programmer for the 6.0

I blew my head gaskets to he!! with a 4" exhaust, intake and Banks 6 Gun. I would go with the SCT and if you want real peace of mind, stud it and block the EGR.

And if you stud it make sure the heads and block aren't warped or you might blow the head gaskets like I might have.

As stated above your NEVER safe
I would however ditch the generic tuner and get a custom tuned SCT
Your tranny will love you

Anything over the basics (tuner exhaust intake) id recomend studding her
