Saying goodbye to my 6.0

Well gentlemen, and the few ladies on here, I've had an offer I just can't pass up. My 6.0 is leaving tomorrow. 173k and she still puts a smile on my face. But the time has come that I don't want to see her sit, and daily driving is full of short trips. She's been good to me except for the HPOP failure last year.

This is replacing her tomorrow.

2004 SVT Lightning.

Smaller pulley (14psi)
SCT tuner
Magnaflow exhaust
AEM Wideband
Boost, trans, and water temp
60lb injectors
Aftermarket single blade throttle body
Trans valve body upgrade
Pioneer headunit with Memphis Audio sub
K&N intake

I don't blame you, lightnings are awesome trucks. I loved my 02. I don't think I could ever get rid of my 6.0, I'm buying a cts-v this week, and I'll be parking it right next to my 6-leaker

Well if I could afford both, I'd keep her around and have the lightning as a toy, but that's just not in the cards right now. I know head gaskets are inevitable, and so far no issues, but I just can't afford a repair bill like that right now. I've been on edge for 2 years, but she's been good to me.

Ahhh, gotcha. Mine's studded and paid for. So keeping it don't cost me anything

It was bittersweet today watching my Superduty drive off without me.
I hope he does studs soon, because I'm afraid the head gaskets were on their way out.
