torqshift ext filter

tried to change the torqshift ext filter on my 06 F350 recently and could not get the filter housing loose...with continued efforts I broke off the 22mm formed nut on the bottom of the housing! I have a replacement (part number 3C3Z-7R179-AA) but still have not been able to get the old one off. Have tried various homemade clamps using oil filter wrenches, strap wrenches etc and get a decent bite but this POS will not budge. Anyone else run into this problem...

Try getting a little PB Blaster or something on the threads and work it back and forth. (thight than loose) I feel ya, I thought I was going to break it off the truck.

But if you don't have the replacement cap you might want o wait. Isn't that a dealer only part?
