6.5l chevy no start

well as you guys know i have a 94" k1500 blazer with a 6.5l turbo diesel in it
well i said screw it bout 2 weeks ago
i put a new fuel pump on it bout 3 weeks ago and it started and ran great. ran it for bout an hour
next day, fired rite up drove it but batteries seemed weak at start
next day bateries were dead and hooked jumper cables to it and it turned over quicker but no fire
i have been fewlin with it all day, hooked a charger to it and the chager would cout on and off, so i said screw it again and hooked the stroke to it and still wont start, aint gettin enough charge?
it has proy been 30 mins. since i last tried it and truck is runnin and hooked to it as we speak
what would cause it not to get enough charge after bein hooked up so long

batteries may be shot, I went thru the same headache on a forklift at work. I charged it for an hour and it got me by then the next few times it slowly lost charge. They wouldn't take a charge nor could I jump it from a battery pack/other machine

Sounds to me like you have a bad, or bad connections somewhere. You need to check everything from the back of the alt to the batteries to the starter. You also need to do a voltage check on the alternator. Check voltage at the drivers side batter with the truck off and then with it running. Let me know these results and we will go from there. Hope this helps!
