Heated steering wheel.

Now that more and more vehicles are coming with this option. Has anybody got it to function in a 99-04 truck? I realize the late model SD wheel is probably not worth the effort.

Now before everybody starts with the " Just wear gloves you pussy" comments... I live where it hit's -30C at night for weeks on end, especially this past winter. But I work during the winter months where it goes below -40. Anybody who has spent time outside in temps that low knows how much a heated wheel is worth.

I'm debating taking the heating element from an Maxima or BMW with this option and putting it in then leather wrapping my wheel.

Wow lol... Sorry that was done on my phone. Recently switched to Android and the keyboard being wider is screwing me up.

That was supposed to say

In other words, they aren't just a switch and away you go.

There is a first time for everything. if you had heated seats I'm sure there is a way you could connect to that so its not always on and would be on a timer. Ever heard the saying if there is a will there is a way
