Blackstone Oil Analysis Report

Well I'm almost to 20K and figured I'd have Blackstone oil analysis done. I sent off for my kit this mornin'. The kits free to order and you pay $20 once you send it in. Has anyone else had one done?

Great find Rodslinger. They look like honest experts to me. They say they have tested diesel oil with 240,000 miles on it with by-pass oil filtration and it was still good to use. Sounds like a good thing to have somewhere down the line.

I think they send the oil samples from the vehicles off somewhere else for analysis.

I didn't even know that they could do that. I'm going to have to do that myself, since i'm nearing 150,000 miles by summertime and who knows what could be going on....

We used oil sampling on our Cat equipment at my last job. Cheap insurance to prevent big problems down the road. Thanks for letting us know about this place Rodslinger, I can't wait to have mine done!

I've have Blackstone analyze the oil in my 04 F350 at every oil change. I run Rotella T 5W-40 Synthetic,a nd change the oil every 5,000 miles. Oil changes are easy with the Fomoto valve. Keith

They have a nice report,
Had it done to my last truck.
Thats when i learned to not go 17,000 miles w/ amsoil.
No bypass filtration was installed, that would have helped.
