Angry mystery leak

I have what appears to be oil dripping off my oil filter, looks like engine oil feels like it also, so I figured the culprit to be the oil cooler, I just did that rebuild today, messy, pain in the rear, especially the front, not much room to work, gasket rebuild went smooth, well the truck still leaks this mystery fluid, in the same spot, I am baffled, any help would be much appreciated, all that work for nada

I'm baffled too.
This is in the general diesel section, and no truck info.

I read a lot so I figure this is a 7.3, but have no proof. Clean it all with some cleaner, then run it, then look more.

Either it's dripping or not. What do you mean?

You can lie under the truck with the engine idling for 5 minutes and not see any leaks or drips, just dampness, you can drive 70 miles, look at the oil filter and the drip is not at the bottom, running down the side of the oil filter, than the next day go to the store come out and there is the drip it is a strange leak sometimes you will even get a small puddle underneath on the driveway.
