238cc/200% Injectors Stock 7.3

Ok, basicly my old boat anchor is at 291k miles and im gonna go ahead and replace the injectors, my truck has a 6 pos TS, DIY intake, 4in turbo back exhaust, a buddy of mine that runs a shop says he can sell me stage 1s (160cc 30%) for 1395 w/o install OR his old injectors (238cc/200%), he recently got rebuilt and said he'll cover any injector issues with for 1500 installed. which i would get custom tunes for, my question is a bunch of argument has came about from local truck guys saying if i run the truck like this its gonna blow, but hes saying you can tune it properly and not be worried about it, i might eventually do further mods to run injectors to there potential but right now im just looking for bang for the buck.

P.S. He didnt even tell me he had his injectors for sale, i asked him if he wanted to sell them.

He is right. Those injectors can be detuned to run safer at stock levels. For tunes choose between Wildman, Swamps, PHP, Gearhead or whatever else suits you. It WILL have to be custom. I say get the bigger ones
