Just got a 2000 7.3 f350 dually need help

I have a tapping/banging noise that does seem normal to me also I do alot of towing and I would like some ideas for best bang for the buck bolt on mods air filter exhaust gauges tuner or chip boost fooler etc I was thinking a sct 6 position a boost fooler a 4" or 5" turbo back no muffler exhaust some type of intake maybe a wicked wheel of course some gauges trans temp egt fuel pressure boost and vacuum any specific brands recommended for this stuff and any opinions or help on noise and mods would be great I would like to spend around a grand give or take a few thanks

a grand? ok....umm

1st: guages (I use isso pro)
2nd: exhaust (I'm getting dymond eye when I get around to it, but I just straight piped stock for now
3rd: or could be 2nd, but intake...(I have link) aka 6637
4th: Tuner/Chip just get a ts/dp style and be done with it...lots of options to google
5th: If auto trans then look up a 6.0 trans cooler or similar
6th: Filter other fluids better (spin on trans filter and coolant filter) both optional
7th: some will argue its usefullness but HPX and FRX google both to fond out what they are and what they do.

oh, and always keep a spare cps and tools to change it on the truck at all times

Best for the buck
6637 intake
4"Tb exhaust
Isspro/auto meter/edge insight for gauges
Custom tuned ts style chip (TW, DP, gear head, php etc etc)

if it has the stock dp on it , ditch it , if it already has one you could just delete the muffler and or cat

Thanks guys great info really appreciate it have not bought anything yet really bother with the noise I'm hearing hope it's normal and not a internal engine noise

Pretty sure it is all stock it has 77000 on it and it was owned by a older couple used 3-4k a year to tow a 8k fifth wheel camper
