Emission Testing

When you replaced your exhaust and pulled the cat, have you ever worried about your truck being subject to emissions at some point in the future? Is there anywhere that does emission on diesels? Those cats are worth a lot of money to a junk yard, and does better than sitting at my house.

If you plan on trading, the dealer will hose you if it doesn't have a dpf. I know they take up a bunch of room but I'd rather have it in my shop or even attic instead of not having it and being docked 3k
