I don't mind the sound of diesel trucks, but for whatever reason the diesel exhaust smell seems to be much worse in the winter when the weather gets colder.

Probably a combination of
A) colder engine makes combustion temps will be different

B) colder air makes different sulfer dioxides and hydrogen sulfides in the exhaust outside the tailpipe

C) winter blend fuel
