anybodyelse a big skier?...i'm here in Alta, Utah for the week..there's a lot of psd's in the parking lot...its snowing now and we're supposed to get 10-16 inches tonight!!
I'll try to get some pics...post yours if your a skier...

I am a snowboarder, have been boarding for about 8 years. Just got back from a snowboarding trip to Big Sky, MT. Also did some snowmobiling in Yellowstone... fun trip!!

M3, thats my old stomping ground, born and raised in montana, what did you think of big sky, its a good vertical resort, although a lot of boarders like big mountan cause is isnt as extremem(im a skier myelf....)

I loved the Lone Peak! Its most certainly different snow than the West Coast snow I am used too. Going down that main chute (is it called "big colour" or something) on the face of the mountain is pretty extreme though

yea, and you gotta love that tram ride to the top of the peak, did that once with the wind blowing, WOW, but that is some awsome skiing.....did you make it to bridger bowl, just north of bozeman, while you were there???

Yea, one of the days, the wind at the top was 50 + MPH, temp was 20 below zero, and visability was nothing -- Certainly not the weather conditions I'm used to here in Seattle

Didn't make it to Bridger Bowl, though we talked about going. It worth it? Maybe next time.

bridger isnt quite as extreme, but has more usable trees and slopes that hold powder and more untouched powder that you dont have to hike to get to......it is well worth it, especially on a week day.
