i was thinking about buying a chip for my 96 dually, i heard that tony wildman is the way to go. wondering if anyone has this chip and if its worth it.

Im ordering mine anytime now I just gotta get myself to stop reading stuff on hear and go order it. I think you will get an over whelming response to this thread about how great the chip is. The majority of 7.3's here are running it.

how does the smoke setting work, a lot?

there is many others but you will max out the injectors with bout all of them unless you have diff. injectors
so most will preform the same.
coustom tunes are the way to go!!!!! just ask anyone that has them!
but tw and dp are basicly neck and neck
they will preform bout the same but the best diff. is reburns
dp- $25 per tune that is reburned
tw- free for each and every tune for life!!!
i have a tw chip and love it!!!!!!
it gives you smoke, and a bunch of extra ponies!!!!!
it is night and day diff. between my stock truck and the extreme stage!
but make sure you have an exhaust and intake and gauges
manual- boost and pyro
auto- boost, pyro and trans temp!!!!!
you wont be dissapointed with either of these!!!
