Angry tw

well i'm in a vicarious situation....i told myself from the beginning that i will not put my tw chip on until i get gauges...well my chip is here and the gauges won't be here for another 1-2 weeks. so now that i have the chip i have to WAIT...AGAIN....so i will keep on reading peoples posts about how good the tw is..and i will just wait to add to the posts

You can still install the chip. Just don't run the truck hard. I had my chip installed for about 6 months before I got gauges.

Go ahead and put the chip in. You'll be fine just don't hold out on the high settings. My dad ran his edge on level 3 for a couple of months before getting gauges. My friend had his Duramax on the highest setting his PPE would go and ran it 6 months before getting gauges and his truck is fine. In fact my truck been in the shop more times then his.

Put the chip on man. Just dont race the hell out of the truck until you can watch you EGT's and boost. I fan my truck for months without gauges when I had my first chip and I was all worried about EGT's and stuff..... then I installed my gauges and I saw that EGT's weren't even close to being an issue. If you tow heavy stuff then go easy, other than that just go for it and have fun. The gauges will be here soon and then you can really open her up!

i'm just nervous of the 150,000 of the 215,000 miles on the truck...it don't shift hard or anything,,but i'm not sure if i want to take the risk. even though nothing would probably happen.
