Viper 5901 Alarm/Remote Start

Well that's what I have and I've always had issues with the remote start. It's hit or miss, hot or cold. It just seems to not crank long enough for it to fire up. Two morning in a row it has failed to fire up for me remotely.

Are there any alarm Guru's out there that can tell me the sequence on this model to extend the cranking time and maybe even the glow plug wait?

Thanks!

Search for a car audio forum. I used to be a member of a popular one but the name escapes my memory. They will get you squared away

Since we are working with the obvious have you ruled out mechanical issues?

I have the same set up and no issues even at 20 degrees

No not looked into anything because she's always a bit grumpy but fires right up. It's like it needs just a second more to crank. What would you think it could be mechanically?

honestly, we drive 6.0's it could be a laundry list.

FICM, ICP, battery voltage, delay time with the alarm for glow plugs, slow starter
