Nationwide database of members willing to help?

I have seen this on other forums and wondered if it would work here. I see the 911 forum and the "where have you had good service forum" but what if you are driving across country and have a problem on a Saturday evening. I guess you would have to sit until Monday morning. But if we had a data base of members across the country that would be willing to help. Maybe you might only need to know where the best local place to get parts are. Maybe you need a couple hand tools the change out an alternator. Maybe you have a complete mess and need serious help? Possibly set the post so only premium members could see it and we could post up our locations and cell phones. I sure know I would not mind helping someone in need in the DFW area if I could. And I know I travel quite a bit and it would be an extra level of security knowing you have a backup plan in case of emergencys. What do yall think ? JJ

I would do that. I'm not a tech by any means but I can still help a person in need somehow most of the time.

I bet a lot of the emergency services members would be on that list just by nature.

Sounds like a great idea, if someone in my area had trouble with a 7.3, I'd be willing to get my hands dirty for a fellow member.

Sounds good to me! One of the admin should open up another forum under the premium members forum, and we could somehow get it all organized in there.

I would look forward to someone calling me as I love to work on these trucks!
Don't we all?

I'm in. Would be like an unofficial meet'n'greet for those traveling members in destress. Can't think of a better idea to promote the Org.God knows these PSDs sometimes need 24 hour support. Could make a chapter of members just for this purpose.
