HELP ASAP

I cant really tell by the photo, but if its what I think it is; you just push down then twist, and it should pull out

Pull straight out on it? Does it have a flat rectangular base or round?

round and i pulled and now i have glass in my hand lol im gonna take pliers to it now..

it looks like a standard trailer bulb. Should have 2 little bumps on the brass and an ear that they lock into. Should be about less than a 1/4 turn to get it to come out

I got it out with needle nose...it was not easy lol sounds retarded i know but it was corroded in there like no other!! the outer cover (red cover) was broken so water and all kinds of good stuff got in and corroded it...thanks for the info guys i appreciate it!
