Newbie here with a quick question...

Hey everyone! Just picked up a new to me '05 Supercab Lariat this weekend. My driveway is a little steep and my truck sits at prob 30 degrees up or down depending if I back in. As far as starting my diesel...... does this make a difference vs if the truck was flat?? I mean is it any harder on it, maybe the oil is pooled somewhere else and takes longer to get to the important parts. Damn thing won't fit in my garage!! Also the tranny, I usually put the parking brake on then put it in park, so the truck doesn't roll a little when in park making it harder to shift. I may be too worried, just want to take good care of my truck.

Thanks for any help......

Thanks. Who ever had it before me really set it up nice. 35 x 12.50 Toyo M/T, leveling kit, cat back exhaust, cold air intake..... that's all I know so far. I still have a lot to learn. The previous owner may be a member here too....

Now for some TorkLift tie downs and some air bags. Then it's time to find a camper!!

Thanks. Holy crap it's fun to drive too!!! Last truck was an 04 Tacoma V6 so a bit of difference. I still have to get used to the turbo lag.

Thats a sweet looking ride, wish mine was black with the tan on the bottom.... Welcome to the org....... As for you question, I don't think that angle would matter just as long as you don't run the fuel down to empty. You have 15 quarts of oil sitting in that pan.

I backed it up the driveway to the garage (not inside) a couple days ago, when I went to leave I let it idle for a couple minutes. When I got home a few hours later the whole garage and even a little inside the house smelled like diesel exhaust!!! hahahaha
