2011 New 6.7 V8 diesel (tell me more)

Spied again: Ford tests ‘Scorpion’ 6.7-liter V8 diesel

Tell me more info on this truck? I'm curious. Wonder how much HP/TQ you can get out of a tuned one? Hmmmmmmmm.

The article is claiming to be more than 390 HP and 720 TQ and including a 6 speed automatic transmission. Also a claim in 3 mpg. I'm pretty sure it will include a dpf and a egr even though diesels burn cleaner yet they keep adding on all this unneccessary exhaust components that people that own diesels will probably take off anyway so the epa is wasting metal and their time. Stupid EPA Thats all the opinion of one 16 year old kid.

Im more worried about the reliability. Fords first attempt at a diesel bothers me a little, but I might be considering one after its been tested a few years. I hope they keep the powerstroke name. Scorpion just doesnt sound strong enough for a diesel.
