Rising Tonneau Cover
Okay I wasn't sure where i should put this thread and it isn't truck specific so i put it here.
Anyways i have a tonneau cover that hinges in the front like a normal tonneau cover, And i wanted to know how to convert it to a rising straight up tonneau cover. I know i would probably need sometime of linear actuator and some type of track system. If anyone could shed some light on the subject it would be great Truck ![]() Linear acuators are at firgelliauto |

Thats exactly what you would need. What are your plans that you want to make it a rising one

I dont know yet. I dont know if the actuators will actually support the tonneau cover all by themselves or i would have to fab up a a rail or something so they dont fall over on them selves. And at 100$ a peice i was looking at only using 2 one on each side.
But they could collapse forward or backward thats why i might need a very stiff rail system |
