Rising Tonneau Cover

Okay I wasn't sure where i should put this thread and it isn't truck specific so i put it here.

Anyways i have a tonneau cover that hinges in the front like a normal tonneau cover, And i wanted to know how to convert it to a rising straight up tonneau cover. I know i would probably need sometime of linear actuator and some type of track system.

If anyone could shed some light on the subject it would be great

Thats exactly what you would need. What are your plans that you want to make it a rising one

I dont know yet. I dont know if the actuators will actually support the tonneau cover all by themselves or i would have to fab up a a rail or something so they dont fall over on them selves. And at 100$ a peice i was looking at only using 2 one on each side.

But they could collapse forward or backward thats why i might need a very stiff rail system

Just a Bump come on nobody has seen one of them rising covers or has one?
