7.3 fuel system

I'm not sure if its even possible, or the cost, but has anyone ever heard of anyone removing the heui system from the 7.3 and converting it to common rail ?

It has been done, alot of high horsepower pullin' powerstrokes run a common rail 7.3. It is costly however.

I would imagine the 7.3 packing some big horse power numbers with a common rail conversion, this would bring some stiff competition at the races. That picture, anyone no what type of pump that is ?

Funny thing; I was about to post about this exact subject. Good thing I searched it instead. I would love to CR my 444, rather than going the FUMMINS route. From what I've seen it shouldn't be more than a CP3 and rail conversion from the 6.4, with some machining for brackets.
