funny story.

So my uncle owns a nice 2002 F-350 crewcab shortbox. 7.3 real nice sound. one day a 7.3 pulled up and sounded quieter, like quite a bit. so today my uncle gave me a ride ome I had to drop my truck off to get the brakes checked and before we pulled out I looke under the truck at the exhaust and noticed that the original owner cut the muffler out and put in a pipe. that and it has no cat either.

My uncle had no idea the entire time of owning his truck 4 years now. that it was straight piped.

any way felt like sharing that.

well the previous owner straight piped it and well lol

no one cared to know. mind you the turbo acts as a muffler of sorts.
