Continental Tires Suck
I have a 2008 F-450 King Ranch 4x4 with 6.4. I optioned Continental tires because I was told they are good tires and last a long time. Bull @#$%^. I was driving from CA to CO with my 32 ft 5th wheel in tow. The trailer weighs 12500 full. I got out to check tire pressures and got the shock of my life. Both right rear tires were missing blocks of tread. Not 1 or 2 blocks but every other block on both tires all the way around. I called Continental to find the nearest dealer. When I got there they said they would prorate the tires. This truck is less than 1 year old with 15000 miles on it. I was pissed. I called Continental and all I got was so sorry company policy we cant replace tires at no charge. Now I have to decide. Replace 2 tires and hope the rest last or buy 7 new tires from someone else. I used to have BFG tires on all my previous trucks. If there was a failure they replaced tires no charge even if I only had 50% left. I have decided to tell anyone I can how unhappy this has made me and how unwilling Continental is to keep a customer happy. If anyone else has had problems with Continental I would like to know.

Sounds like they didn't put tires on the rig rated for the weight, etc...
![]() ![]() ![]() I bet there will be a re-call on those tires soon.

they are a G rated tire 3750 lbs each. I think they have a bad batch of tires and are hoping that they go away. Another guy with a similar problem came into the same tire shop after me. He is pissed too. His tires have 11000 miles on them

I wish BFG made all terrains in this size and load rating. Here are the pics of the tires. 15000 miles of mostly city street driving and 1 trip to Colorado at 65 MPH. Thanks Continental.
