synthetic oil

I have a 2002 F250 SD 7.3L and I am looking to switch over to synthetic oil. I've heard that there is a full synthetic and I've seen a 15-40 blend. Not sure which way to go. I'm sure there are many brands out there but not sure what I should use. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

rotella t6 or delo synthetic from walmart.

both are 5w-40

amsoil is good too.

Rotella T6 is hard to beat, and Delo is a cheap, good alternative.

I run valvoline pre blue synthetic 5-40 i herd the rotela t6 does not hold up like it use to and does not hold up to sheer effect and breaks down....amsoil is amazing stuff it's just expensive unless Tuscany can get a better price

I used Mobil 1 Delvac 5w40 winter and summer from the very first oil change with zero issues like stickation.

SCT, no studs...yet, Dual OEM intake air filter housings, Banks intercooler & intake elbow, Banks exhaust system, Windrunner ported intake manifold, Bullet Proof Diesel remote oil cooler & thermostat, AirDog2 (plus a couple spares), Power steering filter (Amsoil dual-bypass), MagTec deep ATF pan, Electric oil pre-lub pump, Dakota Digital gauges.
