Weird find in my oil filter
I did the first oil change on my powerstroke sence i bought. The guy before me did one right before i bought it. Anyways, when i drained the old oil out of the oil filter i found a spring in the center of the filter. The spring is complete and is 2" long and ½" wide.
any ideas on what this may of came from???

its to make sure the oil circulates and returns through the filter.
i have no idea but this is a free

looks like the spring that goes in the oil filter on top of the motor.
