Arrow Build Thread Charity List

Since it is pretty obvious where we stand with the veteran build thread poll, I am going to go ahead and start this thread to get a list of charities together that we can vote on to send the proceeds from the motor, donated parts, and leftover money to. I will start by adding all the ones already mentioned in the poll thread. If anyone has other charities they would like to throw into the mix please do so and I will add them to the list. We will accept ideas for a couple days here and then we will start an official poll thread to vote on the charities listed. When suggesting a charity please know some facts about the charity and how much of the donated money actually go to their cause. Also, let's keep this all civil and not get into arguments of charities, I know we all have our on personal opinions when it comes to charities, but lets stay focused and on track with what we are trying to do here.

Charity list:

1. Wounded Warrior Project --- https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/

2. 4 Wheel to Heal --- 4 Wheel to Heal

3. Operation Ward 57 --- Operation Ward 57 | Supporting Wounded Veterans

4. Wheelers for the Wounded --- Wheelers for the Wounded

5. CaringBridge --- Connecting Friends & Family During a Health Event | CaringBridge

6. Infinite Hero --- http://infinitehero.org/

7. Chive Charities --- http://chivecharities.org/

8. Benefit to help with Frank's(c69ss396) sister Jopina Rice's children --- https://www.facebook.com/events/3048...ilter=upcoming

For background info on the whole situation please see these threads....

Infinite Hero

Oakley has a line of their stuff that 15% of profits goes to, you can also donate to the foundation seperatly. I am not sure about the seperate donations. Might be worth a look.

I just read up on the Infinite Hero Charity. There are no employees all volunteers made up of executives from Oakley. I couldn't find a financial break down as of yet but I will let you all know. Gotta call them.

Figured I'd throw this one in the mix,
https://www.facebook.com/events/3048...ilter=upcoming

It's meaningfull to me because its my family. My Sister died over the summer, She was pushed/fell out of the passenger door of the truck she was in. This happened in front of her kids mind you. She was riding with her husband that she was divorcing. one of her 4 children is 14 and he is disabled from being severely "shaken" as a baby. It damaged the membrane that holds the brain in the skull. Fast forward to now. After her death my sister took in her kids, she is a nurse and my brother inlaw is army. She is having to deal with the courts over custody of the kids, the 14yr was simple because his bio father was prohibited contact. This whole thing has been draining on everyone. Being a military family they don't have much money, They have been doing the best they can getting clothes, beds and stuff like that, We haven't even been able to afford a headstone yet. This is the only "charity" That you can see the Family your helping.
This is her "facebook" where we still "talk" to her. https://www.facebook.com/jopinarice?fref=ts
Here are her kids, the biggest one is actually 14 his experience as a infant will follow him for the rest of his life. Two of them aren't hers they are her husbands and they went with him.

This is me and my brothers at the funeral, As you can see military runs in the family..
