I may get another FORD

Well, recently I have been debating selling my 03 Ram that I just bought back in February. Reason being is that I want a larger cab and the Megacabs are still too much for what my tight azz is willing to shell out. Plus the bed is even smaller than what I have now and it's painful enough having a shortbed for what I use it for. I am also beginning to get out of the performance side of things, I just don't care anymore. Yeah, I've loved having some quick trucks and all but there are more important things I want to focus and spend money on.
If I'm going back to a Ford it's got to be specific.
1. Black or gray in color....eventually I want black wheels with a silver/chrome lip and they look best on dark trucks.
2. Crew cab, long bed, 4x4 and lariat. I need some leather that wipes up easy.
3. Already level or with a mild lift and 35" rubber.....cuz lets face it, they look badass on 35" and larger shoes.
I'm not a whole lot more picky that that.

So surfing last night I found a great match:
eBay Motors: Ford : F-250 (item 270251810525 end time Jul-09-08 20:00:00 PDT)

Only things keeping it from perfection are the miles and lack of a Cummins under the hood

But seriously, I have my truck for sale and if all goes well I just might buy this one. Surprise of the year huh?

That's a pretty good looking truck Adam.

Not sure I'd consider it "high mileage" though. It's got less than mine... and I rack em up pretty good.

Appears to be outwardly stock performance wise. Looks like stock exhaust.

That's located only 45 minutes away from my home Adam. If you need me to take a look at it I might be able to this weekend (depends on what the wife has planned for us.. lol). Looks like a sharp ride.

Wait! Did you leave your computer on and your son accidently type that? Good luck with your decision, Adam!

It's all pretty much contingent on what happens with my truck and how much I'm able to sell it for. I've got it listed for 18,500 which is slightly under what I booked it to be, and that includes every single mod I have for it minus the uninstalled Silver Bullet turbo, which is listed separately and I may already have it sold, just have to respond to a message about it.
Plus, I have to see if the bank will do it to begin with.

Well it isn't high mileage by what most of us view to be high mileage, but the bank thinks like the pricing sites in that over 12k a year avg is "high mileage."
Yeah it also appears to be stock as far as tuning which is something I kind of like to look for. And the exhaust would have to go.....it's too small.lol

Nope, it's as real as you're surprised to think it is, lol

I don't mind the wheel really.

Not that I'm tired of my Dodge, I'd love to keep it but the cab is just small enough that I'm over it. And as I said the Megas are nice and all, a bit on the overkill side but I'm not the type to spend much more than 20k for my vehicles.

Wow.. didn't realize the banks and pricing sites considered "average annual mileage" to be that low.

It's not unusual for me to put 25 to 30K on a vehicle in a year.... used to do that when I worked in the factory, and now that I drive my truck to and from jobsites... it's worse.

Granted.. I drove 35 miles, one way to that factory job... but how unusual is that really these days??
