I need help understanding this.
I am wondering.... why most 11 second dodges I see have dyno proven 1000+ HP?
yet I see quite a few 6.0 liters with 700-780 ish and they get much quicker times. ![]() don't say its cause its a ford and thats what they do I wanna know how or why that happens? same times sometimes faster 3/4 the HP? wtf gives? |

it is because it is a v-8 desighn v-8 motors have more rpm range than a straight desighn.more rpm between shifts means quicker times.

Take a look at the dyno chart maybe. Sometimes the peak horsepower may be more but the rest of the rpm band is junk. Like the 5.7 iforce.
