This thing is such a pain in the azz.

It's had 5 trannys within 35K miles. First 3 tranny's had shift flairs. 4th tranny started shifting hard - got a reman. Well the 5th tranny been crappy for 20K miles and after 20K miles of complaining I finally got Ford to open it up because it's been getting stuck in third from a stop along with, slipping, shift flair, clunking, hard gear engagements. Well they opened it up and went "yea the tranny is F'd up". Well I need a new one. Turns out when I asked for an extended warranty for the tranny the company that I went with put a warranty on everything except the tranny.

If the reman has only 20k on it, I would think they would warranty it? Should be a parts warranty.

Reman was rebuilt so it turned into a 12K/12Month warranty. Thing is parts replaced under warranty are on the same warranty plan as the broken parts. For example: engine goes out a 80K and replaced under warranty the new one is only covered for 20K miles. But if you purchase a new engine Ford slaps a warranty on it.
