injector pressure sensor

my 6.0 threw the code p2285 which is injector pressure sensor. $198.00 for that damn thing.. well does anyone know where its located on my 2003 6.0??

Passenger valve cover if I'm not mistaken.

right rear of engine under the y pipes to the turbo

on a 2003 the icp sensr is mounted on the back of the engine on the high pressure oil pump , rght beside the ipr , it is accessible from the back , there is a heat shield that needs to be removed first to access , its a litle bit of a bear to get to , do it with the engine cool

is that for the 6.0 b/c i found one with the same plug in on the drivers side in front of the valve cover, but i noticed it had fine threads not course like the new part..??

yeah i think i found it, so how do i clear the codes when i get the sensor in??

You'd have to have a scanner that can clear them. Thats what i'd guess.

if you take hot cables off of batterys for a couple of hours reinstall start up should clear code
