Well guys, I did it. I joined the dark side. I am now a cummins owner.

8.3 liter, 5 speed Allison. She goes nowhere fast and uses tons of fuel getting there. Just like I like em.

You can buy these things around my parts for about $4500. Sometimes with a dump bed. :thumbup:

I've got a business license to buy at govt auctions and can get them for less than half that. . I don't have much use for one and they are a hard sell.

I got it for 4400. I didn't want to buy from auction after all the horror stories I've read on steelsoldiers.

It's a 93 bmy m923a2 5 ton. Only weighs 21k empty

Assuming... But is your the multi-fuel version. You can dump just about anything in the tank and they will not miss a beat.

I love hearing them just sitting at idle listening to the turbo whistle.
