Fuel prices in Germany
Current price for ulsd diesel in Germany is 1.19 euros/liter, which comes out to around $7/gallon. They have it worse than us, about 1/3 of that is tax.
But... regular unleaded is 1.37 euros/liter. So why is their diesel cheaper than their gas, when ours is substantially higher? Why did diesel overtake gas in price last fall? I was told it was due to the ulsd process, but apparently, this isn't the case overseas.
