Looking to Buy a Scan Tool - Advice

I'm in the market to buy a scan tool. I don't want to spend a ton of money. Any suggestions? I'd like to be able to read engine, trans, ABS, SRS, and PCM data.

I'm looking at Matco MD80- OBDII Fix Advisor Pro and Matco CRP129- Launch CReader Pro 129. Does anyone know what the difference is between these two? They're both in the $500ish price range which is the most I want to spend.

I want something that will work on my truck, a 2010 Ford Fusion, and a 2011 Chevy Cruze so it has to be pretty current.

AutoEnginuity. Lots of info here too on tricks of the trade to use it. There's not any actual tutorials on the software itself but its around here in a very helpful thread.

I'm looking for more of a stand alone unit. I don't want to have to buy a laptop also.
