IPR Removal Issues

I am trying to remove my IPR and the nut on the end wont come off or completely tighten. I have a 3/4'' socket that I am using. It just spins whether I try to tighten or loosen. It seems to spin and get kinda tight, then just loosen back up again. I can crank for 5 mins and it goes nowhere. Any advice would be great!

Thanks

Welcome to the org BTW.

Are u sure its the IPR?

Anyway to help take it off, stick a flat screwdriver behind the nut and use an open end wrench to loosen it.
