CMP for '95 DIT: Which is the Right P/N?

I've found all manner of commentary on the infamous cam angle position sensor issues on the 7.3 DIT family. For my '95 F250, some folks say to go ahead and replace it with the new blue one (even though it's supposed to be for only '96.5 and later vehicles), but I've seen precautionary notes that doing so will retard my injection timing by a few degrees. What's the correct replacement P/N for the sensor in my '95 F250?

Thanks.

-John
