I see this everywhere, what is an HPOP?

high pressure oil pump not sure exactly what it does other than it supplies the injectors with oil. oh and i know mines a piece of s**t

our engines use engine oil under pressure to operate the injectors. there is another oil pump that pumps the oil around the engine for normal oil lubrication.
