Hey there...i can not believe that i missed it

You guys are great!!! I missed this on my actual birthday, but my computer had been down for a while, so I did not have online access. If I had any stories to share with you I would, but I dont. Must admit that the only reason I really cared about turning 21 for was that I can now get my concealed weapons permit!!!!! This is very important to me as I spend a lot of time in the mountains with just me and my horse. You never know what you could run into or if your horse falls and breaks a leg. It is very good to have a pistol with you when you are in those situations.

Thanks again for the posts...It made me smile. And thanks to you all who wished me belated b-day as well, it means a lot to me!

Making you smile is what we're here for.
Hope you had a wonderful B-Day!

Glad to hear you're getting your CHL. I think in todays world all ladies should but then that's just my opinion. My lovely wife and I both have ours and we really enjoyed the class. Even though we were both already experienced shooters and gun owners, it was informative and fun to take the class. Let us know when you get it!

You don't know how luck you are girl to be able to spend time up in the mountains on your horse. I get to fight traffic down I-10 every morning so I'm SO envious!

Happy Birthday again Turbo!!

CHP is a great thing!! You shouldn't need it though just to carry up in the mountains, unless there is a chance you could get pulled over by a stater?!

On a side note, I too, really need to get mine, with all the driving I do, etc (and I always pack when traveling).... just keep putting it off and there always seems to be someone in my vehicle with the permit already.
