Had to change the sensor. That was a pretty penny. I put the scanner on again today and was still reading the codes after I'd cleared them, and only read like 2psi less backpressure, I unplugged the sensor and it stuck at 43 psi (obviously, it was unplugged) and plugged it back in and it read almost the same. I called up the dealership and they said it was indeed a common problem, changed it and HOPEFULLY the codes will go away and stay away, I'll check tomorrow when I have the scanner again...

I'm still here.

After you cleaned everything out and changed the sensor, did you clear the codes?

Just adding to this, i am getting the same backpressure codes. However i did the EBPV mod to make an exhaust brake., but I hardly use the function. A few days ago, my truck seemed to lack in power as if there was a restriction like when the EBPV was closed. I looked at the actuater rod and the valve seemed to be fully open. I then changed the IAT sensor because I believe that I ruined it while cleaning my air box. Nothing changed as far as the lack of power. Another thing to add is that my truck has been straight piped for quite sometime and I believe that my truck actually sounds a bit quieter than before all this happened. Any suggestions?

Well I ended up having to get a new EBP sensor because it was ruined either from me or before. I cleaned out the tube, and am straight piped. Got AROUND 14psi backpressure. If you're sure your EBPV is open I dunno what to tell you, maybe your wastegate? Otherwise I'd say wire your EBPV open permanently.

Yeah, My mind is boggled. I did change the IAT sensor. Like I said I looked at the EBPV actuator rod, and it is definitley open because I can see the actuator rod hitting the stop on the housing of the EBPV. Maybe I'm just paranoid??? Thanks for the reply though, and sooner or later I'll get around to cleaning the sensor and tubes.

Get a scanner hooked up to it to read the backpressure and convert it. it comes up as kPa and is easier for me to just get the specs and convert it to psi. Basically with that sensor shot it was reading 55psi of backpressure. After I replaced it, 14psi. That way you can see if it's your brake. Maybe it only throws the codes when you use it, but still stores em.

I didn't notice anything as in it running differently, idling different, nothin.

But using something like a Snap On MODIS scanner would be your best bet, or what the dealership has.
