How the hell do you disconnect the fuel line from the gas tank.
Im replacing the front 19gal gas tank and the old one is dropped but i need to disconect the fuel lines from the sending unit so i can install a new retaining ring to keep the fuel sender retained to the gas tank. I rented this fancy $250 tool with a billion parts and no instructions ![]() ![]() I used the computer to put color on each different piece of where its suppose to disconnect |

The same tool will work for his truck too. He has the master mechanic a/c fuel line disconnect kit. Which should have the proper pieces to disconnect the lines. You just need to find the right size piece and go for it.
