Awaaaaaaaaaay we go!!!...or not!

I'm looking for some info on a good 2wd take off. It seems the only time she pulls is going uphill. I came close to losing against an Eclipse GSX that had some intermediate mods just from a poor take off. I understand stomping on the loud pedal from a dead standstill won't slingshot you past your competition. Giving it gradual foot seems to be the way to achieve better take-offs. Does anyone else have a better method?

Oh yeah! This kid had been running his mouth for quite some time. I finally got the rest of my kit put on & then I turned the screws on him. Now I've gotta figure out a way to beat this other dude w/ an '04 Cobra with just a Whipple Charger upgrade. I didn't just loose: I was annihilated

2wd can be tough, you cant build all the boost like the 4wd guys, I normally get like 10psi or so and let go of the pedal and try to mash it after you get rolling for a sec and hope the back wheels dont start spinning. Ive never gone to the track, but just messing around out in the country.

haha I dont know how to help you with the 2wd launch other than some DR's but other than that you'll just have to find the rpm's you can launch at that it will launch but not fry the hides.

Good luck ever getting the 04 Cobra. 03-04 Cobras "terminators" are 390hp from the factory, exhaust, pullies , tune 500+hp

My dad had an '03 Terminator but it was a vert. The few times I got to drive it, I beat the bloodsnot out of it. Compared to this '04 I'm losing to, I guess that supercharger upgrade & the fact it's not a vert(weight) really make a difference. My dad's Cobra doesn't hold a match to this thing!:burnout
