icp or ipc

went to dealer today they told me the icp or ipc or something like that was leaking oil. trucks under warranty but is this a big deal to replace the gasket or o ring. how much is the part.

ICP sensor - if it's leaking oil it needs replaced. $$$


Good thing this is under warranty.

the icp sensor costs about $190. you pay 100 to have it done and 'save' 90 bucks.

your truck must be an early production 6.0 , the icp sensor on the back side of the enigne on the high pressure oil pump cover will leak, the sensors are im thinking around 165.00, and should take no longer than 15 minutes to replace , the heat shield can be a bear sometimes though to get the bolts , that is a fairly common problem with the rear engine mounted icp sensor
