Wiring LEDs please help

Ok guys i need help picking the right resistor to put in my led taillight project.

Heres what im looking to do. The red is the running lights and the dark red are the brake lights that come on when you push the brake.

Heres the specs of the LEDs
Diameter-5MM
Forward Voltage-3.0-3.2V
Current-20MA
Running in parallel with 18 leds in each circuit using a voltage regulator( 20 x L7812 7812 Voltage Regulator IC 12V 1 5A St USA Seller Free Shipping | eBay ) to maintain a constant 12v power source

What i want to know is what resistor do i use on the positive side of each column. The online resistor calculator says 27ohm 5.4W resistor but that one doesnt exist and most of the ones i find/have are only 1/4W so what would you guys use i dont really wanna spend 30 bucks in resistors theres gotta be a way to use the little 1/4 watt ones right?

If you know a better way to achieve the results in the picture by all means let me know
