2006 6.0 problems

what should i do and what do you think is the problem

ive been getting horrible gas mileage and periodically blowing white smoke at stop lights on stop and go traffic only

just bought truck 2 wks ago and dealership said it passed the ids test which is a useless test

also u can see some coolant around the oil cap when u take it off

enormous amount of pressure when taking pressure cap off

turbo making weird noise its whistling more

did a pressure test bc i sent truck back to them and it was at 15 psi and also as well bad cap and replaced it as well

what do u think

That stuff didn't turn green. It was green when it was put in there. With 15 psi in the coolant system you either have bad head gaskets or a blown egr cooler. Sorry but that's probably what it is.

You bought someone's problem truck. Two options here, 1) look up the lemon laws in your state and slam the dealership you bought it from. 2) take some time to do some reading in the 6.0L stickies (including those listed in sig) and determine weather you want to bullet-proof the truck and enjoy it.

That coolant is the first thing to go, however I think you're in for Head Gaskets at this point.

I'll assume you don't have a monitor?
