I just bought a new to me pickup, I have no experience with Ford Gold coolent. Is this the right color, or has it been polluted?[IMG][/IMG]

Guessing maybe the color has something to do with how hard the coolant was stressed? I.e. towed with a lot, age etc etc.

I'd dump it. It looks too bright. It almost looks like someone added a little of the orange coolant to it in the past, but who knows. Safest thing to do is just flush it and replace. (Don't do the chemical flush unless you are getting ready to change the oil cooler.)
