A couple months ago Diesel Power was talking about what cars would be great to see with a diesel, and then just yesterday Im browsing magazines at the store like I normally do and in either Road&Track or Motor Trend, They had a writeup saying it is in the works.......sweet! First Diesel supercar! (yeah, I know that first sentence was a super run-on)

That car looks bad azz! VW is coming out with another new TDI engine I don't know anything about it yet though. All I know that its goin to have over 22,000 PSI in the fuel lines... They are going to start sending us to training on these new models late this year... I think they will be coming out either late this year or early next year.

The new VW TDI Jetta's already get 55-60mpg and the old body styles get 45-50mpg already.

The article says this is a new motor and not the same as what went into their le mans car. It said something about 20k+psi in the rails.

I know, I own 2 (98 TDI 223k, 03 TDI 87k), but I also own an 03 Accord (wifes), and I would rather get 40 in an Accord than be cramped up in my Jettas.
